How To Get a Great Psychic Reading
Develop Psychic Powers!
People have been getting psychic readings for decades, but more and more people
are getting readings than ever before. Before you get your first reading, or
even if you've had many readings before, there are some things you need to know
beforehand so you get a great reading for the money you pay. Too many people
jump on the "live phone readings" they see in the back of magazines or on TV ,
sure, some of the psychics on there might be truly psychic, but a lot of them
are only people doing a job and aren't really psychic at all, they read from a
script or just sort of guess by getting info out of you. Another thing to beware
of is the tons of online psychic chats where they charge you per minute for a
reading, like phone readings some of these readings are very general and don't
answer a heck of a lot. I myself have had both very bad readings and a few good
psychic and medium readings online. Most of the good readings I've received
online I didn't pay for at all (see links). Your best bet would be to go to a
psychic/medium that someone you know recommends and have it done in person. If
your area holds psychic fairs, these too are usually a place to get good
readings, and their often affordable too.
If you've picked a place to get a reading done, there's some things to know
before your appointment. If your getting a reading from a medium, please
remember this: sitting a medium doesn't guarantee spirit communication. It's up
to the spirit loved one and their stage of awareness from the otherside to
communicate. Sometimes it takes a few sittings before they are able to respond,
sometimes just by you being there may help them to communicate through dreams.
make a list of all deceased loved ones, sometimes a loved one or relative you've
never met will come through and since your only counting on a specific loved one
to show up, you may not be able to think of who it is. Don't be surprised if the
loved one you want to come through, doesn't, this has happened to me and I was
disappointed. Remember that loved one's come through for a reason and that they
may have a message for you, so even if your expecting dad to show up, aunt Gert
might stop in instead. I've learned that any messages from loved one's are
special. It's helpful to think of the loved one you want to make contact with
and ask that they show up, they will sense your energy and this will help to
make a stronger connection. Remember not to give to much info to your reader, if
they ask if your mom passed away, just say yes or no, not "yep and her name was
Cindi and she died of cancer", a lot of readers will ask you not to give too
much info before your reading. If your getting a general psychic reading, think
of some questions that you'd like answered, some readers will just have you
think of them in your head as your picking your cards, other's will ask you what
questions you have at the end of a reading and will pull cards for those
questions. I often go to a local psychic fair for readings, they are 20 dollars
each and there are many psychics and mediums to choose from, like I said before,
look into if there is one of these fairs where you live and definitely check it
out!
Some things to think about before your reading:
1. You as the sitter have no right to expect the reader to tell you what you
want to hear, a good reader will tell you the truth from their heart.
2. A good reading will always have you thinking about your questions and answers
long after it is finished.
3. You won't always get your problems solved through a reading, but most of the
time there will be some information to help guide you in the right direction.
4. You must always remember that it's always you who finally makes the choice or
decision (free will).
5. A good reader will always state that they bring you what's for your highest
good (spirit will never tell you what to do), when you receive a reading with a
medium they work with your guides and family from the spirit world to help guide
you along the way- you always make the final decision)
6. No reader can ever make a diagnosis of a medical condition. They can suggest
reading material, or doctors to contact if you have any health concerns.
After sitting with a reader you should be walking away with information to
further help you. Readers should never tell you of an impending death (yours or
anyone else's) and if you feel uncomfortable at any time, just politely excuse
yourself. All in all having a reading should be enjoyable and fun, and should
bring insight to a problem or comfort from hearing from a loved one.
